US Womens National Team Clinic 12/5 - Basking Ridge

Dear JGLA Members,

As we announced at our Annual Meeting, the JGLA is going to be hosting a clinic provided by Team USA Women's National Team on Saturday December 5th at Mountain Park in Basking Ridge New Jersey.  The clinic is offered through US Lacrosse and does require every participant to have an active US Lacrosse membership which is also a requirement for players to play in JGLA games.

The clinic is being offered in 2 sessions and is an on field clinic.  All participants must have their own personal equipment (stick, goggles, mouthguard and proper footwear for the turf--Sneakers or Turf Shoes).  All participants will receive a T-Shirt and have the opportunity for an autograph/Q&A  session with the team members.

9:30 AM - 12:30 PM for players/coaches in 3rd to 6th Grade (Check-in starts at 9:00 AM)

1:00 PM - 4:00 PM for players/coaches in 7th grade thru 12th grade.(Check-in starts at 12:30 PM)

There will be a least 5 - 6 members from Team USA leading the clinic.  One of the lead clinicians will be New Jersey's own Megan Douty who has won 2 National Championships at the University of Maryland and played High School lacrosse at Rumson-Fair Haven High School.  We hope some of our participants will be future National Champions and TEAM USA members!

This is a great opportunity for players and coaches to meet, learn and interact with the best players in the country (and the world).  We are extremely excited to have the opportunity to offer this clinic to our members.    Registration is $60 per participant and is available at the following link (Please know the registration process will require a US Lacrosse membership and account which you would have for purchasing your US Lacrosse Membership)

This is a rain or shine event and is being held on the brand new field turn facility at Mountain Park in Basking Ridge.  The complex is conveniently located just off Rt. 78.

We will be sharing more information over the next few days and we are expecting this event to sell out quickly.

Lets show TEAM USA and US Lacrosse that  NJ is serious about lacrosse.  As a matter of fact, lets show them how Jersey Girls Lacrosse ROCKS!!

Thank you!
